Hi, I'm Lauren, and I'm so glad you're here. As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, I'm working towards full licensure, which I expect to achieve within the next two years.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a variety of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, and life adjustments.
I have had the privilege of working with LGBTQIA+ and varyingly abled individuals, as well as individuals with worldviews and cultural backgrounds differing from my own.
I use a person-centered approach in addition to meeting my clients where they are and choosing interventions that meet their unique needs.
My interests are equal access to and quality of care, uplifting others' voices and stories, and qualitative research that contributes to bringing about change within the healthcare world. I strive to implement these into my counseling practice.
I offer in-person appointments in New Port Richey, FL, and telehealth appointments for Florida residents.
Feel free to schedule a 15-minute consultation with me to see if we would be a good fit!
Safety Note: If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 or go to the nearest emergency room. This website and its contact forms are not monitored 24/7.
